Christmas Stocking for Amanda

Decided this is the year for Amanda's stocking.  I've had the canvas since she was born so now she is four I suppose it is only right she finally gets it.

I'm only doing it when she is not around as I wish it to be a surprise.

The canvas is by Strictly Christmas CS 1126.

As soon as I saw this I knew that I wanted to use beads, bead  and more beads on this.  Hence all the candy and snow flakes will get the treatment.

The snowman is stitched using Treasure Chest by Rainbow Gallery.  The stitch is sound wave which for this young lady is appropriate.

Chicago before the storm hits.  Within minutes we couldn't see the lake.

THe girls and I made over 100 cards, now what to do with them?

Husband decided to tile the girls bathroom, our master bath and here the kitchen.  Now he is working on the mud room and foyer.

Yes it was a busy summer with a lot of pool time slotted in whenever possible.

Missing in action.

I decided to keep the summer for my two girls hence no posts.  Then just as I was getting ready to post some pictures from the summer I got ill.

Two weeks ago I gave in and visited my doctor who to my utter surprise told me I am pregnant??>?>?  Now about 12 years ago Cleveland Clinic told me I couldn't get pregnant and not to waste any more money in the attempt.  That was two daughters ago and here we go again at the grand old age of 43.

Anyway in the next few days I will post some pictures of the things I did over the summer.
